I am still working on next month’s new vella. It’s a Bunny shifter, dragon shifter, and a human.
I did get a domain name and that’s where a lot of my current vellas have their CW. If they are up to date.
And I bought some covers!
(Okay, two of those I am making in canva and the app I have on my iPad).
I know this week I have been feeling like all this was worthless. Maybe I don’t write to market very well. And I know that I have no audience. There’s so many reason why things aren’t going amazing. Or I am hidden in the algo. It’s just hard to not to feel like maybe that one teacher was right. Maybe I don’t have the talent to be an author. Maybe it was the struggle of trying to finish Teasing my Stalker? Maybe it’s writers block? I don’t know!

I am not sure if I will also have a short romance this month.
On top of that, I have a novella due in September for an anthology(my first orc). An Omegaverse for October 1st. I also need to write another sci-fi short which may start two different story lines: a super messy symbiote romance and a barbarian Omegaverse. The novella I am writing right now could introduce the symbiote species and the ladies that will crash onto the omegaverse world.
Since the holidays are coming, I really want to have a short romance and a vella ready for at least Halloween, Christmas and maybe New Years. And I think I could at least do a short romance within the bar life series with Thanksgiving. It’s a lot. Plus September is when the first Jastic book is out on e-book.
My last vella poll on Hitting the Boss there was some interest on having a MMF story with Brian after HTB completes.
Did you ever watch Stargate?
There was an episode where the one alien was like, “Hey, the worm you had used to be my lover, let’s do the relationship thing.” And it got me thinking? What if there is some crazy “My worm likes you, I don’t really like you, except you like him/her, their worm likes you but their human likes me.” Like how wonderfully messy and crazy could that be? I want to play with that in a full-size novel.
